What we collect, and what we don't.
Ladr is not open yet. Today this website does one thing with personal information: it takes an email address if you join the waitlist. This page describes that plainly rather than in boilerplate.

What this covers
This policy applies to the Ladr website at ladr.trade. It does not cover the Ladr terminal, which is not publicly available and has no user accounts. If and when the terminal opens to users, this policy will be replaced with one that describes it, and anyone on the waitlist will be told before that happens.
What we collect
Your email address, if you give it to us. The waitlist form is the only place this site asks for personal information. It is optional, and the site is fully readable without it.
Standard server and analytics logs. Like most websites, our host records technical information automatically when a page is requested — IP address, browser and device type, referring page, and timestamps. We do not use this to identify individuals.
What we do not collect
This section matters more than the one above, so it is stated explicitly.
- No exchange credentials. Ladr does not ask for, receive, or store your exchange password, API key, or account details. We will never request them by email or message.
- No trading data. We do not collect your positions, orders, balances, or trading history.
- No funds. Ladr does not hold money and does not take custody of assets.
- No accounts. There is no login on this site, and no profile is created for you.
- No advertising trackers or data sales. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information, and we do not run advertising pixels.
Why we hold your email
One reason: to contact you about early access to Ladr, and occasional updates on the build. That is the purpose you gave it for, and we do not use it for anything else.
Every message includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing removes you from the list.
Who else touches it
We use two service providers, and they process this data on our behalf:
- Kit (formerly ConvertKit) — stores the waitlist and sends the emails.
- Vercel — hosts this website and generates the server logs described above.
Both have their own privacy policies covering how they handle data as processors. Beyond these, we share personal information only where we are legally required to do so.
How long we keep it
Waitlist emails are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, or until it becomes clear the waitlist is no longer in use. Server logs are retained by our host under their own schedule.
Your choices
You can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Write to algofounders@proton.me and we will action it.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local privacy law. We will honour a request whether or not the law requires it — the dataset is a list of email addresses, so this is not a burden.
Security
We keep the amount of personal information we hold deliberately small, which is the most effective protection available to us. Access to the waitlist is limited, and it sits with an established provider rather than on infrastructure we maintain ourselves.
Children
This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us their email, write to us and we will delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the effective date at the top changes with it. Material changes — particularly any that come with the terminal opening to users — will be sent to the waitlist rather than quietly posted.

Ladr is independent, and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with any exchange. Venue names identify the exchanges Ladr connects to. Nothing on this site is investment advice.
